There exist various obstacles in the lives of those belonging to economically backward communities. From receiving even basic education to getting proper healthcare, the underprivileged have truly suffered. Serve Samman has undertaken various initiatives to bring about a change in their lives and help build a healthier and self-sustainable community.
Over the years, our team has organized various health and eye check-up camps, facilitated free cataract surgeries in collaboration with our esteemed patrons. We have organized various healthcare workshops to create awareness on hygiene, prevention of undernutrition, communicable diseases, and cancer.
We distribute free medication and spectacles to those in need. Various vocational courses are available at our centres designed to help them become self-reliant.
We have provided relief in major disaster-hit areas of Nepal, Kashmir, and Uttarakhand by arranging shelter, food, and health services for those affected by the earthquake and floods. Serve Samman workers met the grief-stricken families to provide them with the required aid to fast-track the road to recovery.
Our Team Members Stationed in Nepal, not only helped the villagers receive relief in terms of food and medication but also helped them rebuild their homes. Even though most of them were doctors, they did a phenomenal job in helping the villagers resettle. They brought sheets for 172 houses and helped resurrect almost 3 complete villages where no relief had reached even after 10 days of the Earthquake.
After successfully providing aid in Nepal post the earthquake, Serve Samman went once again to build bore wells and install water pipelines to ensure water supply in Archale Village, where there was no water supply. As the relief work came to an end, Serve Samman took a step forward towards the resurrection of the village.
Our team has further gone the extra mile to help those lives which have been severely affected by the pandemic. We have been actively involved in setting up camps for the distribution of ration, food, face masks, hand sanitisers and more, amidst the imposed Covid-19 lockdown since 2020.
Serve Samman has various centres up and running to support the underprivileged youth and provide them with the means to develop a skill set that will help make them become self-reliant and enhance their quality of life.
The centres are situated as follows:

Before we knew it, we had established a centre which offered Computer Training and Sewing Training to those in need in the nearby villages. Initially, it was tough to get students to join. However, once the word spread, the response became very overwhelming and more and more students started joining in. With their constant interest and motivation, there was no looking back for the team at Serve Samman.
